Introducing our Exterior Dentil House Moulding | TF02 - a versatile architectural addition for your exterior. The TF02 external dentil is a compact and finely crafted dentil suitable for use on eaves details with a minimum soffit size of 150mm or more. It is often chosen for installation at eaves level, especially on luxury homes designed to capture the timeless elegance of Victorian detailing.
For an aesthetically pleasing installation, these dentils are typically positioned with the 120mm section against the wall and the 105mm length projecting along the underside of the soffit. While TF02 dentils are usually spaced at 600mm centers, the existing structure of some dwellings may dictate alternative spacing. In certain regions, dentils may have originally been fitted in a "hit and miss" pattern, where one dentil is followed by a 3-inch (75mm) gap to the next, creating a distinctive visual rhythm around the entire building.
Installation: Use nails or screws during installation. Each dentil should be fixed from above using a suitable screw (not supplied) prior to the roof being felt and battened. Retro-fitting on PVCu soffits can be achieved by using super glue and activator.
Elevate your exterior design with the TF02 dentil molding, capturing the charm of Victorian-inspired architectural details that stand the test of time.
Polyurethane / DuroPolymer is a light weight; easy to handle material with good 3D definition giving crisp design details. Site decoration not required which overall makes the exterior range a great and cost effective building option.
