Continuing our guest blog series, speaking to clients and exploring their recent projects, we're delighted to share this practical and comfortable scheme from Nook Design. Designed as an office come library for an academic, accessing books and documents with a library ladder was integral to the scheme. 

Our rolling library ladder features in a scheme designed by Will Mundy Carpentry in the June issue of 'These Three Rooms' the Kitchens, Bedrooms & Bathrooms online magazine. 

Focusing on the very real need for home offices post-pandemic this feature highlights the demand for working spaces - from 8% to 27% to be exact - and everything surrounding this phenomenon including extensions, home tech, extra storage and garage conversions. 

The sleepy seaside town of Eastbourne wasn’t the obvious choice to launch a chic boutique hotel with an interior you might find in Manhattan or Miami. Designer Imraan Ismail chose a full rolling library ladder in a raw finish for the bar area. The simplicity of the black rail and horizontals of the rungs works in complete harmony with the geometry of the bar design, rows of bottles and shimmering pink disc as the focal point.
