The ALT-ST20 is a heavy-duty cabinet and wardrobe pocket door system designed for taller, wider doors and more demanding residential joinery applications. Featuring smooth soft-close action and precise door alignment adjustment, it allows doors to swing open and retract fully into the cabinet carcass, leaving the opening completely clear.

Available for both overlay and inset door designs, the ALT-ST20 is ideal for large appliance garages, tall cabinetry, utility rooms and bespoke storage walls.

The Sugatsune ALT-ST20 pocket door system is engineered for projects where increased door height and weight capacity are required, while maintaining a refined, concealed appearance.

Designed for cabinet-scale and wardrobe applications, the system allows doors to swing open and slide smoothly into the cabinet body, eliminating door obstruction and improving accessibility. An integrated soft-close mechanism ensures controlled, quiet operation, even with taller or heavier doors.

The ALT-ST20 range is available in two door styles:

  • ALT-ST20-D10 for overlay doors, where doors sit on the face of the cabinet
  • ALT-ST20-D360 for inset doors, where doors sit flush within the cabinet opening

Multiple slide configurations are offered depending on door height and weight, ensuring stability, smooth travel and long-term performance. Doors are manufactured separately by a joiner or cabinet maker, allowing full flexibility over materials, finishes and detailing.

Typical applications include tall kitchen cabinetry, utility cupboards, appliance garages, wardrobes and bespoke storage walls where traditional hinged doors would restrict access.
