What is Studio Duropolymer made from?
A high-density polymer composite engineered for sharp detailing and long-lasting performance — a durable alternative to timber or plaster mouldings.
Are Studio Duropolymer mouldings suitable for bathrooms and kitchens?
Yes — the moisture-resistant composition holds up well in humid conditions, provided it's finished with a suitable interior paint.
How do I cut the product?
Studio Duropolymer cuts cleanly like wood. Use a fresh-bladed saw for the best finish.
How do I install it?
Fix using a high-grab adhesive — no screws required. A fine-tooth saw or mitre box gives clean, accurate angles for corners.
Can I paint Studio Duropolymer mouldings?
Yes — every profile is supplied white pre-primed, ready for water-based paint, emulsion, or satin finishes.
Is Studio Duropolymer more durable than plaster?
The impact-resistant composite is less prone to cracking than traditional plaster mouldings, and easier to handle on site.
Can it be fitted on uneven or period-property walls?
Yes — the material sits well on slightly uneven surfaces, and small gaps can be filled for a seamless result.
Is it suitable for commercial projects?
Yes — the range is used in hotels, offices, retail and hospitality fit-outs where durability and low maintenance matter.
Can it conceal cables or LED lighting?
Many profiles include cavities suited to concealing cables or LED strips — popular for media walls and joinery projects.
